Nayt and Jes have been married a little over a year and are settling into life in Cincinnati. They share a cozy one bedroom apartment, two blocks from UC Hospital (and one block from a UDF! mmm). When not working, Nayt can be found: cycling, playing WoW, watching Heroes, Dexter, Numb3rs and Battlestar Galactica. When not working, Jes can be found: walking/jogging, making cards, attempting to cook, watching Friends and The Big Bang Theory.
Nayt works in the IT department at Vineyard Community Church. His specialty is with Macs, though he’s branching out to support Windows programs and become a Jack of all trades. He’s really taken the “give your job away” mentality to heart and has been avidly training volunteers to do all kinds of things.
Jes works for Skin Diagnostics Laser & Rejuvenation in Montgomery as a receptionist. Her specialty is in patient relations, and she’s often asked to do random projects. She enjoys working in medicine and is considering starting a card-making side-business.
The Avondale Brookes’ have recently gained a new furry addition. His name is Toby, and he’s a meowing bundle of playfulness. Toby is an expert water bowl tipper, has perfected the groggy-I-just-woke-up meow and enjoys biting Nayt’s arm. He’s a great kitten and is very loved.

looks like the site is up and rolling well! I was wondering though if you were planning on leaving an old link up to the wedding website for those who were curious. But maybe that site is now a cyberspace mystery hanging off in the distance somewhere. Anyway… I like the site. It’s simple, and yet it screams Nayt and Jes. I like I like and I plan on checking frequently. =)
here’s my second comment (meaning that I look like a no-life person or an overly bored employee). Anyway… glad to hear you two are recovering from the bliss of a honeymoon. Jes, I feel ya on consoling after work some days and what better than a good friends episode or 90 to nurse the wounds. Nayt, thrilled that you got the Vineyard job and will start Aug 22. Love you both and look forward to stalking you… err… keeping up with your lives through cyberspace.
